MSC DANIT Keel laying.

On 4th November 2008 keel has been laid down for the largest container ship in the world - MSC DANIT 14000 TEU (fourteen thousand!!!), built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard . The baby will be 365m long, 51,2m breadth with the depth of 29,9m. The propulsion plant with power of 72240 kW will spin 6 blade propeller of diameter 8,9m at 104 rpm giving the speed of more than 25 knots. Classification of the vessel with Germanischer Lloyd will be supervised by two polish engineers.
