To all of our dear visitors we wish merry, full of snow and joy Christmas. Let the New Year bring to you happiness, health and all of this small things, which does not make us happy, but the life is easier when you have them. Germanischer Lloyd Goose Dinner 2006

On Saturday 16th of December Germanischer Lloyd hosted a 2006 Christmas Goose Dinner in Paradise Hotel in Busan. Well, I can not say much more than the pictures say. As usual under strict supervision of Mr. Heinz Wagner and with much of effort from Paradise Hotel staff we enjoyed a pleasant Christmas atmosphere. The geese together with red cabbage, dumplings and accompanying drinks were delicious, and it made all of us forgetting the far distance from home and feeling the Christmas mood.
As we can see not everyone was good this year, that's why Santa Claus had a few stick slaps instead of sweet's bag.
The Polish community inside of GL took commemorative picture on the stage with Christmas background.
After the delicious dinner we moved to Charlie's Pub, where we enjoyed traditional Christmas tequila, Krombacher beer, and many others until the next morning. More pictures from this nice event you can find in our Gallery.

Kaya enjoys Busan.

Kaya got amazed by Christmas atmosphere of Busan. First she's been a bit afraid of reindeer, but after while she called them "cow" and everything was cool.

Christmas Party at GL Daewoo

Germanischer Lloyd Daewoo hosted a Christmas Dinner Party at Hessen Brau for all employees and some of our clients. During this very nice evening we enjoyed variety of foods and traditional German hot wine Gluhwein. More pictures.

Farewell to Mr. Kwon & Thorsten.

Guys, how much we will miss you... Some things end, some another are about to begin, hopefully you will be happy in your new locations. However with both you moving out our office lost a lot of fun and heat. Take care Five Dragons in China, and take care Five Livers in Vietnam. North German Green Cabbage Dinner.

On the last Saturday, Germanischer Lloyd together with the unforgettable assistance of two ship owners organized the excellent party. The best description would be a quotation from invitation (I hope the author doesn't mind):
NORTH GERMAN TRADITIONAL GREEN CABBAGE DINNER WITH ALL ITS NECESSARY INGREDIENTS AND ACCOMPANYING DELICACIES IN ORDER TO SURVIVE THE STRONG WINTER SEASON WITH SUFFICIENT POWER CREATED BY THE VERY HEALTHY GREEN CABBAGE DISH SEASONED BY THE SMOKEY AROMA OF PORK SAUSAGES AND PORK CHEEKS. FOR THE DIGESTION OF THESE DELICACIES THE CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND HIGH PERCENTAGE SPIRITS LIKE GERMAN GRAIN SCHNAPPS AND POLISH VODKA IS MORE THAN RECOMMENDED OR EVEN MANDATORY.
Trust me - it was the best combination of food and drinks which shall help us surviving the winter.

Mnie to przypomina, jakby ktoś przeniósł kawałek planu zdjęciowego Gwiezdnych Wojen na plażę na wschodzie Azji. Widok z okna Hotelu Paradise w Busan. Ładna plaża, ładne morze, drzewka, krzaczki no i te klocki w tle, zeby nie było za nudno.

Kaya meets the babysitter.

And this how Kaya met her babysitter for the first time. We had a fun while enjoying Green Cabbage Dinner, when Kaya enjoyed her time with Miss Jeong. I must say, the babysitter was kind of professional, they found immediately common language with Kaya. It seams that they had a good time together, when we were back, Kaya was sleeping like an angel.
