Monte Tamaro cz. II

Jeszcze kilka ciekawych fotek z imprezy...

Monte Tamaro

It took ten months for Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering to construct this magnificent vessel. Now, after being christened by Mrs. Giulia Oetker it will sail under the lucky star praising the good name of its builders and polish engineers supervising the production.
I have been honoured with plaque of appreciation, presented by S.T. Nam President and CEO of DSME. Pictures thanks to the courtesy of DSME PR & Protocol Team.

In the evening we took a part in the wonderful dinner party hosted by the owners of Monte Tamaro – Hamburg Süd.

My precious, beloved flowers...

Gyeryongsan

Jedna z ciekawszych grek w okolicy - malowniczo polozona Gyeryongsan (566m). Wiecej zdjec z Gyeryongsan i okolicy w Galerii.

Praying mantis.

Well... I'm just happy to know that they don't grow any bigger... otherways I would be also praying... not to be a prey of them. More mantis I met this year with camera can be found in Gallery.

DSME garden inhabitants

Look around and think what do you like the most at DSME… For me it is not a difficult question, I am a man in love with nature – every place I look around in a shipyard is covered with trees, plants and flowers. It is something unusual that even in the tiny space between workshops some flowers and plants can be found. I really admire how DSME provides space and funds to keep the shipyard in a harmony with nature, to make us feel comfortable in our workplace.

However, DSME is not only a home for hundreds of people who decided to play a part in a world leading shipbuilding company. We share our living and working space with many animals and insects, and since the insects are leading in amount I would like to focus on them. I am sure everybody knows very well the most common spider that can be found around here, called Black and Yellow Garden Spider. This species is striking in appearance with distinct yellow and black markings, including banding on the legs, that make identification easy. The female of the species grows much larger than the male. Females have large rounded bodies that may grow to 40 mm, excluding the legs. If the length of the legs is added, the female can reach 75 mm in diameter.

So there you are , if even the spiders can think of DSME as a garden – there must be something special about it. The garden spider is completely harmless to humans, so when you are free just grab your camera and go for a hunting to DSME garden. More DSME scary creatures can be found in Gallery.

Fiddler on the Roof.

The only small difference - the violin has been replaced with camera - just to show the view out of the roof of the building we live in. The Deokpo Bay in its beautiful magnificence.
